Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), recently received a delegation from the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Japan, led by President Hiromichi Tanigawa.
At the working session, Mr. Tanigawa emphasized the need for expanded cooperation and market research in Vietnam by Fukuoka businesses. He noted that Vietnamese workers have made significant contributions to Fukuoka's socio-economic development and are highly regarded for their skills, diligence and intelligence. This lays the foundation for both sides to promote cooperation in the field of human resources, meeting the demand for high-quality labor.
In addition, Mr. Tanigawa also pointed out the potential for cooperation in the field of information technology, especially as Fukuoka and the Kyushu region are experiencing a strong wave of investment from high-tech companies. This presents a great opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to share experiences and transfer technology.
VCCI Vice President Hoang Quang Phong highly appreciated the role of the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce in connecting the business communities of the two countries. He emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between VCCI and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kyushu region to promote investment projects, especially in the fields of human resource management, high technology and agriculture.
Both sides committed to continuing to expand investment cooperation opportunities, contributing to the strong development of Vietnam-Japan economic relations.
