Tan Thang Cement Factory is conveniently located near Nghi Son International Port and near abundant, high-quality raw materials that ensure a stable long-term input supply for its production. In April 2020, the first Tan Thang cement product was marketed and quickly received by customers. When it came into operation, Tan Thang Cement Factory, with a daily processing capacity of 5,000 tons of clinker or 2 million tons of cement a year, created jobs for more than 400 workers, mainly local people, and paid over VND200 billion a year to the State Budget, thus generating a driving force for the development of southern Thanh Hoa province and northern Nghe An province.

Embracing "Industrial Revolution 4.0", the company has applied an optimal management model and employed the world's most modern equipment and technologies such as the fuel supply system of Bedeschi (Italy), two-roller clinker kilns of FLSmidth (Denmark) - an advanced technology in cement rotary kilns, cement grinding systems equipped with new vertical roller mills of Loesche (Germany), high-precision advanced packaging systems of Haver & Boecker (Germany), and electrical systems of ABB (Switzerland).

With its high quality, stability and beautiful colors of products plus a variety of designs and packages from 50kg ordinary bags to 500-2,000kg Jumbo bags and other types of packages, Tan Thang Cement has conquered domestic and foreign customers. The company's cement and clinker products fully meet the strictest standards such as American standards (ASTM) and European standards (EN).

Not only pioneering technology and bringing premium products to the market, Tan Thang Cement also focuses on environmentally friendly green production solutions. The factory makes use of production waste from other industries, economizes electricity, and especially minimizes power use during peak hours. At the same time, a residual heat generation system is being deployed to conserve energy and reduce emissions to the environment. Operational cement kilns are often associated with high concentrations of dust and emissions containing carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), fumes and dust, but Tan Thang Cement Factory has smokeless chimneys because all production lines are placed in a closed system where generated dust is treated through a dust filter bag system integrated with electrostatic precipitators, surveillance devices and environmental monitoring devices.

Mr. Le Dinh Trung, Deputy General Director in charge of Manufacturing, said, "Current environmental standards in Tan Thang Cement are equivalent to European standards, higher than standard requirements of Vietnam. Currently, at Tan Thang Cement Plant, the output dust concentration is always less than 30 mg/Nm³ and the rate is lower than 20mg/Nm³ in cement grinding areas, 3-5 times lower than the current regulatory level of 100mg/Nm³, ensuring that the environment is still safe even when a high density of facilities go into production."
