Mo Duc is Quang Ngai's largest 'rice basket' with around 10,000 hectares of rice fields.

The locality is also the hometown of late PM Pham Van Dong, who served as the premier of North Vietnam 1955-1976 and, following the country's unification, as PM of Vietnam 1976-1987.

A bamboo bridge over Tra Bong river in Binh Duong Commune, Binh Son District.

Tra Bong is a famous river in Quang Ngai Province. It is the topic of the well-known poem "Nho con song que huong" (Missing the village river) by Te Hanh, which is included in the country's secondary school textbook. 

A bamboo bridge over the Tra Khuc River leads to Lan hamlet in Tinh Long Commune.

The 200-meter-long bridge is dismantled by locals during the flood season and rebuilt afterward.

Photographer Doan Vuong Quoc said: "The pastoral landscapes next to the bamboo bridge are as beautiful as a water-color painting and attract lots of photographers. Many young people wanting to escape the bustle of city life often come here to breathe in the fresh air and experience the quiet and peace of the countryside."
