4 agencies, including: the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), have signed a cooperation agreement.

In response to the implementation of Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW by the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new era, and to honor authors with works about entrepreneurs, enterprises, and the business environment, the Central Propaganda Department, VCCI, and Business Forum Magazine are organizing the Program for Selecting Journalism Works on Entrepreneurs, Enterprises, and Sustainable Business Environment Development. This program is open to journalism works from across the country.

Works participating in the program include articles or series of articles by one or co-authors in various journalism formats: reports, investigative reports, features, and notes in print media, online newspapers, radio, and television, published from July 1, 2023, to August 15, 2024. Each submission can be a single article (up to 5 installments) or a series (up to 5 articles) by the same author or group of authors.

Authors must be Vietnamese citizens, including both professional and non-professional journalists, with works published in print or online media licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications. Authors must not violate the Code of Ethics for Vietnamese journalists or other laws related to journalism and the press.

Submission Deadline: By the end of September 15, 2024 (based on the postmark).

Selection Criteria: The content of the submissions must reflect the current and in-depth reality, with a focus on discovery; accurately portray the life of businesses and entrepreneurs; provide accurate, timely, and realistic information about their lives, business methods, and experiences. Submissions about outstanding examples, new factors, successful businesses overcoming difficulties, and experiences of failure without discouragement are encouraged. Works with fictional elements will not be considered.

Submitted articles must have accurate, honest, and objective information; present new issues with discovery; have a high public impact, be persuasive, and positively influence social life and the startup needs of youth. The profiles of the businesses and entrepreneurs featured in the final round must be verified as true to reality. Reflections on the business environment must be constructive, offer solutions, and suggest new reform directions.

Awards:

• 1 First Prize: 20 million VND + Certificate

• 2 Second Prizes: 10 million VND each + Certificate

• 3 Third Prizes: 5 million VND each + Certificate

• 5 Consolation Prizes: 2 million VND each
