Dear Banks and Enterprises,

According to the warning of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), the illegal exploitation and trade of forestry and timber products in the world market is on the rise. To combat and prevent this situation, many countries and international organizations have proposed and implemented a series of measures, in which controlling cash flow, especially controlling transactions at banks for the exploitation and trade of forestry and timber products, is important and effective.

To support Vietnamese banks and enterprises to improve their understanding, capacity and skills in controlling transactions, contributing to preventing illegal exploitation and trade of forestry and timber products, and avoiding unfortunate legal risks, the Enterprise Development Institute under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with Traffic in Vietnam organizes the program:

PREVENTION OF LEGAL RISKS IN BANKING TRADING FOR WILD PLANTS AND FORESTRY PRODUCTS

Time: 01 session, from 8:00 to 12:00 on August 29, 2024
