At the Vietnam Business Forum on March 6, 2011, in Hanoi, leaders of the Party and the State affirmed: “Vietnamese enterprises and entrepreneurs are not only the core force of the national renovation process led by the Party, the State, and the people, but also the pioneers in international integration, in which female entrepreneurs and enterprises play a very important role. They are the heroes of peacetime.” They also emphasized that “Vietnamese women entrepreneurs are exemplary models of bravery, endurance, creativity, dynamism, and resilience in the face of difficulties and challenges. They have made active contributions to maintaining stability, restoring and developing the economy, and addressing social welfare issues.”

As the national organization representing the business community, VCCI has implemented various activities specifically to support women entrepreneurs:
• Supporting and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of female entrepreneurs, female-led or female-managed enterprises and organizations.
• Promoting trade, investment, and technology transfer activities domestically and internationally for women entrepreneurs.
• Supporting the establishment of harmonious labor relations and promoting gender equality in enterprises.
• Participating in legal development, training, and capacity building.
