Connecting and developing the business community not only creates new business opportunities but also contributes to the overall prosperity of both the business community and the national economy. The linkage among businesses plays an important role in many aspects of business operations such as promoting cooperation, sharing knowledge and experience, fostering innovation and creativity, and enhancing social interaction.

   As the representative of the business community, VCCI considers business networking one of its key missions. Over the years, VCCI has organized various activities to gather business opinions through forums, dialogues, and meetings between enterprises and State agencies, the Government, and relevant organizations; participated in the study of laws and policies to provide feedback and recommendations to the Government for improving the business environment in Vietnam; and carried out necessary activities to protect the legitimate rights and interests of members and enterprises in both domestic and international business relations.

   Developing and connecting members is one of VCCI’s core responsibilities. VCCI is currently implementing the project “Innovation and Improvement of VCCI Membership Work Quality,” which aims to comprehensively reform the membership model and operations, placing members at the center of VCCI’s activities. The organization is enhancing member development, improving support services, and diversifying enterprise assistance programs. It is also promoting the expansion of customized consulting service models based on the specific needs of businesses, on a fee basis.

   Thanks to practical and effective activities, the number of VCCI members has significantly increased, reaching over 200,000, making VCCI the largest business representative organization in the country. Its members represent all economic sectors, including specialized and multi-sector business associations, local associations, corporations, state-owned enterprises, joint-stock companies, limited liability companies, private enterprises, and foreign-invested enterprises.
