As the national representative organization of employers, VCCI participates in the National Labor Relations Committee, the National Wage Council, and the National Occupational Safety and Health Council as Vice Chairman of the Council and a member of the Board of Directors of the Social Insurance Fund. The viewpoints of VCCI’s representatives in these Councils and Committees are always directed toward creating favorable conditions for enterprises to restructure production, ensure a stable and developing working environment, enhance business competitiveness, and contribute to economic growth and sustainable development.

   In addition to contributing to and formulating labor policies, VCCI also carries out activities to support the building of harmonious labor relations. VCCI cooperates with domestic social partners such as the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, as well as international partners such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), to implement activities supporting the development of harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises, preventing labor disputes through the promotion of effective social dialogue at the workplace and genuine collective bargaining.
