Enhancing supply chain connectivity across China and Southeast Asia
Attendees were introduced to the innovative 'Park within a Park' concept through the Apple Vision Pro, a cutting-edge spatial computer. This VR experience showcased how the integration of road, rail, air, and sea supply chain services into a single logistics hub improves efficiency and connectivity. This approach positions Vietnam SuperPort as a key player in the regional logistics landscape.
Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort, shared the new vision and development plans for Southeast Asia’s first SuperPort.
“By leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative logistics solutions, we are enhancing the flow of goods across the region and setting a new standard for sustainable, future-ready logistics ports. Vietnam SuperPort is well-positioned to drive Vietnam’s economic growth and strengthen regional ties through world-class infrastructure," he said.
Strategically located along the Northern Economic Corridor, Vietnam SuperPort connects 20 industrial parks to major seaports and airports, including Haiphong and Noi Bai, extending its reach to Yunnan and Kunming in China. Vietnam SuperPort leverages YCH Group’s nearly 70 years of logistics experience, benefiting from connections to global supply centres across Asia, including China, India, and Southeast Asia.

Asia’s first net-zero multimodal logistics port by 2040
"In alignment with Vietnam’s commitment to net-zero by 2050, Vietnam SuperPort has embedded advanced sustainability solutions into its core operations. We are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2040, strengthening Vietnam’s leadership in sustainable development," Yap said.
Vietnam SuperPort's roadmap to achieving net-zero includes assessing current emissions, upgrading infrastructure with AI and Internet of Things technologies, adopting renewable energy systems, and transitioning to an electric fleet by 2030. Residual emissions will be offset through the purchase of renewable energy credits and carbon offsets.
The port is also committed to developing a highly skilled workforce. In collaboration with YCH Group and the Singapore Supply Chain and Logistics Academy, it will train 500 next-generation logistics professionals through a nine-month talent development programme in Singapore. This initiative aims to prepare Vietnam’s workforce to meet the growing demand for high-quality, tech-savvy talent in logistics, as the country continues to develop as a key electronics manufacturing and research and development hub.
YCH Group, Singapore’s leading end-to-end supply chain solutions provider, partners with some of the world’s largest companies across more than 100 cities in the Asia-Pacific. YCH focuses on boosting productivity and sustainability for customers in industries such as fast-moving consumer goods, electronics, chemicals, healthcare, cold chain logistics, and e-commerce.
Vietnam SuperPort, located in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, spans 83 hectares and serves as a multi-modal logistics hub. The strategic joint venture between YCH Group and T&T Group, one of Vietnam’s top 10 largest multi-sector private economic corporations, aims to reshape the region’s logistics landscape.
