From the beginning, Vietnam - Italy Steel JSC determined the market segment is high quality construction steel and to use modern and environmentally friendly technologies. Therefore, we equipped a steel rolling line with a capacity of 350,000 tons per year with Danieli technology supplied by leading steel group Danieli - Italy and a billet production line of 552,000 tons per year with Consteel technology provided by Techint Corporation (Italy). In order to improve the supply capacity and meet the customer’s demand better, Vietnam Italy Steel JSC is preparing to invest one more steel rolling line with a capacity of 500,000 tons/year. The new line is expected to manufacture in year 2024.

Our steel making technology by electric arc furnace with continuous horizontal arc furnace (EAF) is considered as the most modern technology in the world today and environmentally friendly due to the use of recycle materials instead of natural resources. Therefore, VIS Steel was also certified by the International Standards Agency (Bureau Veritas) for environmental management according to ISO 14001 - 2015 standards.

With the criterion "Product quality is the leading important factor", VIS strictly controls all production processes from the selection of input materials until the products delivered to the customers. In addition, the Company regularly implements the improvement activities, assigns the staffs for advanced training in Japan and attends the annual prestigious award for continuous improvement (Kaizen) hold by Kyoei Steel Group in Japan.

With modern technology and advanced management VIS has been successful in manufacturing construction steel including wire rod and rebar; industrial steel including SAE coil and 30Mnsi prestressed steel. All the products met the international standards such as: Japanese standards, American standards, British standards, Chinese standards, Vietnamese standards...
