Several local businesses are showcasing their products at the ongoing Asia-Pacific Food Expo (APFE) 2019 in Singapore between November 21 and November 24.

A total of 200 exhibitors from 10 countries and territories worldwide are participating in the annual event, with attendees from China, Taiwan (China), India, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Four Vietnamese enterprises operating in the field of farm produce and foodstuffs are participating during this year’s expo. 

Making their debut at the fair, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) are introducing their organic dairy and beverage products.

Most notably, the domestic firm Learth, a start-up established in Vietnam in 2016, was presented with the "Innovative Food Products 2019" award by the Singapore Food Manufacturers' Association.

The APFE is a food exhibition that is held annually in Singapore with the aim of helping local businesses gain greater insights into the market, identify current trends in order to devise product strategies, and improve product quality, as well as adjusting selling prices as a means of helping local brands develop internationally.

This year’s event is expected to attract approximately 400,000 visitors.
