2024 is the third year of implementing the Resolution of the 7th National Congress of VCCI. The organization's business support activities in the first 9 months of the year have achieved many positive results, contributing significantly to improving the business environment and developing the Vietnamese business community.
Promoting the development of policies and laws to support businesses
In the first 9 months of 2024, VCCI has focused on implementing many activities to improve the business environment and create favorable conditions for business development. VCCI has contributed opinions on many important draft legal documents related to the economic and business sectors.

In particular, the reports on the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and Provincial Green Index (PGI) conducted by VCCI were highly appreciated by the Prime Minister. These documents not only provide important information for localities but also help improve the investment and business environment and enhance the competitiveness of provinces and cities.
In addition, VCCI also coordinated with ministries, sectors and localities to organize a series of seminars and consultations on new policies, including the bidding law, land law and special consumption tax law, to provide practical solutions for the business community.

Supporting businesses in sustainable development and digital transformation
VCCI has implemented many initiatives to support businesses in sustainable development and emission reduction. In particular, in the context of increasing requirements for sustainable development and environmental protection, VCCI has promoted the application of the CSI Index, an important tool to help businesses fulfill their social responsibilities and achieve sustainable development goals. These activities not only help businesses minimize negative impacts on the environment but also help them increase their competitiveness in the international market.
In the field of digital transformation, VCCI has also organized hundreds of training courses for businesses, helping them grasp and deploy 4.0 corporate governance models. From there, businesses can optimize business operations, improve efficiency and save costs. In particular, VCCI has coordinated with foreign organizations to organize advanced training courses for business leaders, helping them improve their management skills and access the latest technologies.
Promoting regional economic connectivity and developing the logistics industry
One of the outstanding activities of VCCI in the first 9 months of 2024 is promoting regional economic connectivity. VCCI has organized many conferences and forums to connect leading enterprises in key economic regions of the country. A typical example is the Eastern Expressway Economic Connection Agreement between VCCI and the provinces of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and Hung Yen. Trade and investment promotion activities in localities have attracted the participation of many domestic and foreign enterprises, creating conditions for enterprises to expand their markets and seek new partners.
The logistics sector also received special attention from VCCI, with the organization of the 5th Red River Delta Logistics Forum. This forum not only helps businesses in the region seek cooperation opportunities but also promotes the development of logistics infrastructure, an important factor in enhancing Vietnam's competitiveness in the international market.
Improving governance capacity and supporting businesses in international integration
To help Vietnamese businesses improve their competitiveness in the international arena, VCCI has organized many activities to support businesses in participating in multilateral dialogue mechanisms such as APEC, ASEAN BAC, and organizing meetings between business leaders and representatives of international organizations. In particular, VCCI has chaired many trade and investment promotion programs abroad, helping businesses access new markets and take advantage of opportunities from free trade agreements.

In addition, VCCI also focuses on building a team of Vietnamese entrepreneurs with strong business capacity and ethics. Activities such as the Forum "Ho Chi Minh Thought on Business Culture" and the "Vietnam Today" art photography contest with the theme "Enterprises - Driving Force for a Developing Vietnam" have contributed to spreading business culture values and enhancing the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in the business community.
Reforming the organization and operation methods of VCCI
VCCI not only focuses on supporting businesses but also focuses on improving its own operational efficiency. In the first 9 months of 2024, VCCI has restructured its organizational apparatus, ensuring streamlining, efficiency and meeting the requirements of the new situation.
