In particular, the company’s industrial nail brand, UNITED NAIL, has conquered customers in the United States, Canada and many countries around the world. United Nail Products Co., Ltd, established in 1999, manufactures and supplies high-quality industrial wire nails (coil nails) for wooden shipbuilding industry, wooden rollers (wooden bobbins, cable winders) and pallets.

The company's products are manufactured using Taiwanese technology and certified ISO 9001:2008 standards (in 2024, the company registered with the Can Tho Department of Science and Technology and joined training courses to improve product quality, aiming to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification by the end of 2024), and examined by the Quality Assurance and Testing Center 3 (Quatest 3) for meeting Japanese JIS A 5508:2009 standards and European BS EN 10230-1:2000 standards. All manufactured products meet RoHS directive 2011/65/EU Annex II standards (free from substances harmful to human health). In addition, the entire production management process applies Japan's 5S standards.

In the past years, United Nail Products Co., Ltd has continuously researched, improved and launched many lines of wire nails and loose nails to meet market demands. With the motto of "Prestige - Attentive service - High quality - Reasonable prices", the company’s nails have been widely present in many provinces and cities. The UNITED NAIL brand has also conquered many demanding markets such as the US, Canada, the UK, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia. According to the manufacturing process, technical standards and customer feedback, the quality of UNITED NAIL products is similar to that of product lines made by Taiwanese companies and better than that of many types supplied by manufacturers of other countries or currently on the market.

Over the years, the company has also produced customized nails to best meet all changing customer needs effectively. Therefore, since its inception, the company’s average export output has risen by 15-20% annually, often accounting for 60-70% of revenue and reaching a maximum of 10,000 tons of products a year.

However, since the COVID-19 outbreak, followed by the economic downturn and global political turmoil, many businesses, including United Nail Products Co., Ltd, have faced difficulties. Global supply chains were disrupted, accompanied by a sharp surge in logistics costs, making it impossible to export products. The company had to gradually scale down its production and had to completely stop its production lines at one point in 2023 because of product backlogs and insufficient working capital. The good news is that its business gradually recovered and achieved expected goals in 2024.

In 2024, its business achievement will be almost equal to the best of previous years, and the growth momentum can be maintained at 15-20% annually in 2025 and beyond. This is partly due to the improved world economic recovery in addition to the perseverance and effort of the company to live through the rough time to get sweet fruits. Specifically, in recent years, supported by local authorities with timely encouragement, visits or facilitation to maintain production amid the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak or provided “timely credit support” for business recovery, the company has felt more confident and motivated. With such support, the leadership and the staff of United Nail Products Co., Ltd have tried to boost production and business to achieve their desirable goals.

Difficulties and challenges do not discourage the leaders and employees of United Nail Products Co., Ltd. The company's engineers have focused on researching and improving technical processes and new technologies, thereby helping improve the capacity of production lines and economize resources. Previously, it took 10 people to get each ton of product but, with improvements, it needs only three now. That has helped United Nail to meet bigger orders in a shorter time and with higher technical and aesthetic requirements.

In 2024 the company promoted foreign affairs, searched for markets, found new order partners, and opened new markets in Mexico, the EU, India, Thailand, South Korea and others. Hence, its sales output has improved, estimated to bring in US$20 million of revenue as expected at the beginning of the year. This outcome has boosted the company’s confidence in setting higher business targets in 2025 and the following years.
