A variety of rock formations which can be seen through the clear blue water creates a very beautiful Eo Gio, also known as the windy strait, with the landmark becoming a famous tourist attraction in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province.
The arc-shaped strait of Eo Gio can be found a total of 20km northeast of the centre of Quy Nhon city. The area boasts pristine natural beauty amid spectacular mountains and a stunning coastline.
Eo Gio is renowned for both its majestic beauty and also having the second largest number of salangane caves in the country, only behind Nha Trang city.
Rocks, water, and pristine scenery are the typical characteristics of Eo Gio.
At its foot the De rocky field can be found. Eroded by sea water over the course of many years, the rocks feature a variety of different sizes and shapes.
The erection of safe and beautiful handrails along the old road allows tourists to easily explore Eo Gio.
April to September are the ideal months in which tourists usually visit the strait.
Sitting on rocks, listening to waves, and seeing the sunset is a wonderful experience which tourists should not miss out on.
Cactuses growing on the rock is a notable aspect of the windy strait.
The handrails have become a popular check-in spot for tourists.
Wind-bells leave impressive sounds among visitors.
