VCCI Vice Chariman Nguyen Quang Vinh noted that through ASEAN BAC 101 and JBC 24, Vietnam has numerous opportunities to contribute to regional economic cooperation, while also enabling Vietnamese businesses to gain deeper access to the ASEAN economy.

In particular, during the meeting, the ASEAN BAC Chairs had a session with the Prime Minister of Vietnam to report on the Council’s main activities and invite the Prime Minister to attend and speak at the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN BIS) 2024, scheduled for October in Vientiane, Laos.

The agenda for the ASEAN BIS 2024 is expected to include several significant events, such as the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2024 and a dialogue between ASEAN leaders and ASEAN BAC members. Vice Chairman Nguyen Quang Vinh hopes that the active participation of the Vietnamese business community in these activities will not only enhance their regional standing but also create opportunities for sustainable cooperation and development in the future.
