PM meets with voters in Hai Phong

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with voters at An Duong district, Hai Phong province on June 16 to report outcomes of the seventh session of the 14th National Assembly.

PM Phuc responded to a series of issues which drew much public concerns especially slow introduction of guiding documents, anti-corruption work and local projects. 

Head of the Hai Phong’s National Assembly delegation Nguyen Thi Nghia briefed voters about the outcomes of the latest National Assembly’s session. Accordingly, the NA passed seven laws including the Law on Alcohol Harm Prevention. The Law will come into effect from January 1, 2020, prohibiting transport control in alcohol consumption. 

PM Phuc said that a large number of laws were passed. However, guiding documents were slowly introduced. He also pledged to ask the Ministry of Public Security and relevant ministries and agencies to early issue a guiding document for the Law on Public Security. 

On this occasion, PM Phuc responded to complaints on shortcomings of the administrative reform, anti-corruption, and development of Hai Phong city./.
