PM Phuc welcomed the FM for the former’s first visit to Viet Nam, hoping that the visit would open up a new chapter and consolidate the friendship between Viet Nam and the Ivory Coast. The PM expressed his aspiration that businesses of the two countries will accelerate trade promotion activities.
The FM informed the host leader about his successful talks with Vietnamese FM Pham Binh Minh in which the two sides discussed a series of measures to cement and deepen the bilateral ties.

PM Phuc said he expects that Viet Nam and the Ivory Coast will soon reach concrete outcomes in new cooperation spheres, stressing Viet Nam stands ready to share its experience and assist the Ivory Coast in rice cultivation.
The PM recommended the two sides boost strength in cashew export.
