The country’s aim for the year is to send 120,000 guest workers abroad to work under official contracts.
Japan remained the largest recipient of Vietnamese workers with a total of 28,394 employees, including 8,620 female workers, followed by Chinese Taiwan (20,732), the Republic of Korea (2,890), Romania (714), Saudi Arabia (489), Algeria (229), Malaysia (216), and a number of other markets.
