The Vietnamese embassy selected some of the nation’s companies which meet strict requirements regarding organic and gluten-free products, as well as products which meet high standards on environmental protection.

Some of the items on display at this year’s event include organic rice, rice vermicelli, noodle soups, organic girdle cake, cacao powder, cashew nut, Minh Long ceramic products, wooden toys, medical equipment, 3D cards, pet clothes, and decorative items for Christmas.

Most notably, seven different types of Vietnamese organic rice were introduced to New Zealand’s largest retail chain Food Stuffs North Island which has 349 stores nationwide.

To mark the occasion, the Vietnamese embassy and Integrity Plus co-hosted a seminar themed ‘Doing Business with Vietnam’, drawing the participation of a large number of companies from New Zealand.
