Cao Thang College in HCM City is preparing to host Automation Day 2019 on October 26 with the theme of strengthening connectivity to develop human resources and automation technology within the context of Industry 4.0.

The information was released at a press conference in HCM City on October 22. 

Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association, the event is expected to provide an ideal venue for speakers, scientists, business representatives, and a large number of students to exchange ideas and strengthen co-operation in the field of automation.

During the event, firms and other relevant organisations will display a number of cutting-edge technologies in the related field, while several scientific workshops will be held with the participation of leading experts and researchers in the automation sector.

Throughout the occasion, students will be given the opportunity to exchange views and meet employers in order to to map out suitable career options for the future.

Dr. Le Hoai Quoc, Chairman of the HCMC Automation Association,  said the nation’s automation industry will continue to enjoy rapid developments in line with Industry 4.0 trends.

At present, the HCM City Automation Association have implemented a number of co-operation programs with international automation organisations from the Republic of Korea and the United States so as to carry out training programs on the improvement of the quality of human resources for the automation sector.
