Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, improving the quality of human resources to adapt to the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution plays a very important role in the development of each enterprise and contributes to realizing the national goal of developing the digital economy. With the #SheMeansBusiness Program, the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council has greatly supported women-owned small, medium and micro enterprises to improve their digital skills and knowledge of corporate finance, and connect female entrepreneurs to develop together in the digital economy.
Mr. Ruici Tio, Policy Program Manager for Asia-Pacific, Meta, said that with VWEC's efforts in connecting #SheMeansBusiness alumni during the past five years of cooperation, many of them had now started their business journeys on digital platforms. This connection will not only create opportunities for more female entrepreneurs, but also ensure the sustainability of the program in the future.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council launched the #SheMeansBusiness - VWEC Student Community with the goal of "Connecting Women Entrepreneurs: Growing Together in the Digital Economy". A business networking session was organized during the event, receiving many shares from the delegates about lessons learned, good practices, contributions and suggestions from female entrepreneurs in applying digital knowledge and skills, and financial knowledge for women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises.
The program "Connecting Women Entrepreneurs: Growing Together in the Digital Economy" is one of the efforts of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council to support women-owned enterprises to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and promote digital transformation.
