As many as 1.6 million foreign visitors travelled to Viet Nam in October, raising the total number of foreign arrivals to 14.5 million ones over the recent 10 months of 2019, up 13% against the same period last year, of whom 56% came from China and the Republic of Korea (RoK), according to the General Statistics Office. 

The numbers of foreigners travelling to Viet Nam by air, road and sea see respective year-on-year increases of 11.1%, 19.1% and 6.6% in January-October period.   

Foreign arrivals from Asia, Europe and America see respective increases of 15.2%, 5.5% and 7.1% in the reviewed period.
