The Hai Anh Wind Farm project, which broke ground on December 20 last year, is expected to cover an area of 855.25 hectares with an installed capacity of 40MW and will utilise eight of Electric Wind Power's WH5.25-172 wind turbine units.

The wind farm is the company's first wind power project in Vietnam, and its turbines can boast the largest onshore wind turbine diameter in the Vietnamese market to date. With a hub centre height of 125 metres, the project has the largest single machine capacity among all the company's international onshore projects.

Pollution from coal power has been a serious problem in some areas of Vietnam recently, so the government is giving priority to renewable energy projects. This means that wind energy, which has abundant potential in Vietnam, will receive further attention, creating huge opportunities for investing in the green energy market.

The Hai Anh Wind Farm project's foundation components will be delivered at the end of March and the first batch of four wind turbines will be delivered in early June, with the second batch of four due to be delivered in mid-June. The hoisting of the turbines will be completed by the end of August, and the project is expected to be completed and connected to the grid before November.
