The introduction of this new product asserts the capability and strong commitment of the 147-year-old national beer brand by offering the best of Vietnam to the world. With great craftsmanship, SABECO is confidently determined to continue

Bennett Neo, General Director of SABECO shared: “Vietnam is a country rich in culture, and we are known for our great quality coffees and beers. Beer and coffee are both everyday beverages that somehow connect people. As SABECO owns long-standing Vietnamese brands, the company believes that it has a responsibility to promote the best of Vietnam to the world. The Bia Saigon Coffee-infused Beer is our latest introduction to showcase the combination of two popular Vietnamese beverages as well as our strong craftsmanship as a leading local brewer in Vietnam."

According to the Q&Me survey conducted in 2020 on young people’s lifestyles in Vietnam, taste novelty is the most crucial criterion to try new drinks. Young people are constantly looking for new experiences to share with friends. Based on this insight, Bia Saigon strongly believes that beer is not just a thirst-quenching drink but it can be exciting and surprising with a refreshing new flavour to appeal to young beer drinkers.

The Bia Saigon Coffee-infused Beer is our latest introduction to showcase the combination of two popular Vietnamese beverages as well as our strong craftsmanship as a leading local brewer in Vietnam,” said Bennett Neo, general director of SABECO.

Starting with familiar ingredients, Bia Saigon is proud to introduce an experience that could not be more unique and unusual, the Bia Saigon Coffee-Infused Beer, brewed with selected coffee beans originating from the highlands of Vietnam.

A drink that perfectly combines the highlands' coffee beans and the legendary beer born and brewed over many generations of Vietnamese.

For the first time ever in Vietnam, these two ingredients converged in a unique beer taste.

Coffee is often known as the Vietnamese national drink as the country is one of the world's top coffee bean exporters. Hence, it is not a surprise that Vietnamese coffee carries national pride as its black gold was proudly honoured as the best coffee beans in the world.

The love for Vietnamese coffee and its rich flavour formed the distinctive Vietnamese street drinking culture identity, where people enjoy coffee as their daily indulgence.

Interestingly, coffee and beer contain the same magical ingredients that bond people and are often seen as the two popular beverages enjoyed by many across Vietnam.

Venus Teoh, deputy general director of SABECO said, “The efforts to combine the famous taste of Bia Saigon with the legendary Vietnamese coffee from Tay Nguyen conveys our master brewers’ enthusiasm in creating high-quality local products."

Teoh continued, "The biggest challenge with this beer was to combine the two familiar tastes in a delicate, harmonious way without losing its natural flavours. After months of development, we are confident this coffee-infused beer will offer a unique and different taste experience to both coffee and beer lovers. Bia Saigon believes that this beer will be a memorable and proud mark of the brand on the journey to honour the beauty of the local ingredients, as well as celebrate our spirit of pushing boundaries."

The latest limited edition showcases the brand spirit to celebrate its relentless progression and is also a meaningful launch to welcome the Vietnam National Day on September 2, which marks its 77th year of the nation’s progress.
