Accelerating Site Clearance for Tam Duong I IP, Section II

SHI-IP Tam Duong Industrial Park (or Tam Duong I Industrial Park, Section II) is one key industrial development project in Tam Duong district, expected to create breakthrough development for the locality and contribute to the overall development of Vinh Phuc province.
Perspective of SHI-IP Tam Duong Industrial Park project
With nearly VND1,600 billion of investment capital, SHI-IP Tam Duong, invested by Son Ha Group, covers over 162 ha in Huong Dao and Dao Tu communes and Hop Hoa town, Tam Duong district. SHI-IP Tam Duong is designed to be a multisector industrial park combined with logistics services, with focused investment and construction of modern synchronous technical infrastructure. In particular, priority is given to attracting investment projects in the following industries: Processing and manufacturing, food and beverage manufacturing, construction materials manufacturing, rubber and plastic manufacturing, electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing, supporting industries, transportation and warehousing. Currently, SHI-IP Tam Duong is carrying out land compensation and site clearance and handing over nearly 95% of the land area to the investor.
The investor of SHI-IP Tam Duong Industrial Park Project is highly mustering human resources, means and finance to promptly complete the received area and meet tenants’ needs. At the same time, the investor has actively coordinated with relevant agencies of Vinh Phuc province as well as Tam Duong People’s Committee to quicken site clearance in the remaining area to achieve synchronized investment for the whole area and ensure the project progress.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Secretary of Tam Duong District Party Committee, paid a working visit to Tam Duong I Industrial Park, Section II to speed up site clearance. At the meeting, he requested the investor to actively coordinate with the district's professional agencies to promptly tackle difficulties and obstacles emerging from implementation; seriously informed people of the site clearance policy; and resolutely enforced against households that deliberately opposed.
Tam Duong district proposed that the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee issue a new set of technical and economic norms to build and approve the budget for selecting a consulting unit to determine land prices; adjust and supplement the province's land price list to support land compensation, site clearance and resettlement in the locality and consider allocating the fund for resettlement projects and cemetery expansion projects to ensure active capital sources for carrying out the investment project.
At the same time, the district also asked the province for permission to allocate land for scheduled project implementation based on the current status of land compensation and site clearance of resettlement area projects and allot land to the investor for infrastructure construction.
