The Phu Tho ESTEC Company is informed by the website of Phu Tho People's Committee about a plan in short time that will develop the Tu Da - Phu Ninh - Phu Tho industrial cluster into Industrial Park. This information is also included in the promotional materials for investment of Phu Tho Province. The Phu Tho ESTEC Company is based on the information of the plan and through the introduction of the Phu Tho People's Committee, decided to move the plant from Thuy Van - Viet Tri - Phu Tho Industrial Zone to Tu Da - Phu Ninh - Phu Tho from June 2016. However,up to now the Tu Da Industrial Cluster has not yet been transformed into the Industrial Park.

After relocating the plant to the Tu Da Industrial Cluster, The Phu Tho ESTEC Company has applied for EPE certification, but the location of the plant is not the Industrial Park,  but it is industrial cluster. Therefore, The Phu Tho ESTEC Company has not been granted the certificate of the EPE business..

As a supplier of Samsung, EPE certification is essential. Due to the export business, the EPE business certification will help enterprises enjoying tax-free benefits and simplify import-export procedures. The Phu Tho ESTEC Company’s customer is Samsung Group which is urging The Phu Tho ESTEC Company completes the procedure to convert into EPE business. In the worst case, without receiving EPE certification, The Phu Tho ESTEC Company may lose the right to continue supplying Samsung products in the future

The Phu Tho ESTEC Company would like to request People's Committee of Phu Tho Province to support and create favorable conditions for The Phu Tho ESTEC Company to be granted EPE certificate, as well as many enterprises that not be located in industrial parks and other manufacturing area which are facing difficulties when EPE certification is required in similar cases.
