According to a report from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), in 2024, the labour and employment sector met and exceeded the targets set by the National Assembly and the Government. The urban unemployment rate was under 4%, and the percentage of trained workers was estimated to reach 69%, of which 28.1% have degrees or certificates. Additionally, about 150,000 Vietnamese workers were sent abroad for employment under contracts, achieving 120% of the plan.
