This builds on Visa's three-year partnership with MOONTON Games, the international video game developer behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), as the Global Payment Partner for the next three editions of the M Series—the M8 World Championship (M8) in 2027 through the M10 World Championship (M10) in 2029.

Visa serves as title sponsor and official payment partner of VMC Fall 2026
The M Series, MLBB's flagship international competition, is the most-watched mobile esports tournament in history, with the M7 World Championship (M7) recording 5.68 million Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV), according to Esports Charts. Through the partnership, Visa aims to bring fans closer to the games and communities they love through payment innovation and experiences beyond the competition itself. Visa cardholders can also enjoy benefits such as preferential access to the M Series tickets and opportunities to win VIP experiences, player meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes tours, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
In Vietnam, Visa's support for the local esports ecosystem extends beyond the national stage through Visa VMC Fall 2026, where recently crowned champions Saigon Phantom secured a place at the MLBB Championship Tour Southeast Asia (MCT SEA). Bringing together 12 teams from 11 Southeast Asian countries, MCT SEA serves as a qualification pathway to the M8. The top two teams will advance directly to the M8 Main Stage in Istanbul, Türkiye, where the M Series will make its European debut, while the third- and fourth-placed teams will qualify for the M8 Wild Card in Bangkok, Thailand.

Beyond the competition, Vietnam also offers a compelling opportunity to connect gaming with digital commerce. Visa’s market research shows that 71% of Visa consumers in Vietnam spend on game-related purchases, while 41% of surveyed players across the researched markets make in-game purchases at least weekly. Vietnam is also home to an estimated 5.7 million MLBB players, including 1.5–1.7 million monthly players, reflecting the game's established presence and strong player base in the country.

“Gaming brings people together through shared passions, competition, and community. Our global partnership with MOONTON Games reflects Visa’s long-term commitment to this evolving ecosystem. In Vietnam, Visa brings that commitment to life through local esports, seamless payment experiences, and exclusive cardholder benefits. We look forward to working with our partners to make gaming experiences more convenient and rewarding for Vietnamese players and fans,” said Mr. Kelvin Tanu Utomo, Head of Products and Solutions, Visa Vietnam and Laos.
Guided by “More Game, More with Visa,” Visa’s involvement in VMC Fall 2026 builds on its support for VMC Winter 2025, marking its second time supporting Vietnam’s MLBB esports ecosystem. The Visa VMC Fall 2026 Grand Final brought together top teams and passionate fans to celebrate competitive excellence and the community spirit that makes MLBB a powerful platform for connection. By combining competitive esports with convenient digital payment experiences and exclusive cardholder promotions, Visa continues to bring its global commitment closer to the local community, creating more meaningful experiences for players and fans beyond the tournament itself.
Visa champions the moments that bring people closer to their passions, from sports and music to gaming, fashion and entertainment. Through a fan-first approach to partnerships, Visa helps make participation seamless, secure, and accessible while enabling effortless commerce across borders. Its expanded collaboration with MOONTON Games strengthens its growing presence in gaming and underscores its commitment to connecting people with the communities and experiences that matter to them.
