The seminar provided information and practical insights while creating a forum for dialogue among government agencies, experts and the business community. It aimed to help Vietnamese businesses identify opportunities, challenges, legal considerations and practical solutions as they enter and expand their operations in the U.S. market.
WBS supported VCCI in organizing the seminar and introduced its V.Legal platform as a resource for businesses.
According to WBS, V.Legal, a platform developed and operated by the company, offers solutions ranging from assistance with reciprocal tariff refunds and the management of legal costs and cash flow to support for international trade development and access to flexible trade financing opportunities. WBS said the platform is intended to help businesses strengthen their financial foundations and international competitiveness.
Citizen Pathway contributed practical perspectives and experience in investment and market development in the United States.
In his opening remarks, VCCI Vice President Hoang Quang Phong emphasized that the United States is a large market with considerable potential for Vietnamese businesses, while also setting demanding requirements for standards, legal compliance and management capacity.
Amid changes in international trade, businesses seeking to succeed in the U.S. market need more than quality products and competitive prices. They must also keep abreast of policy developments, understand market regulations, strengthen their management capacity and manage risks in commercial transactions.
According to VCCI’s leadership, Vietnamese businesses should gradually move beyond a narrow focus on exports towards long-term market development. This includes building brands, developing partner networks, increasing value added and participating more deeply in U.S. supply and value chains.
