Under the current proposal, the PCCI plans to lead a delegation of approximately 100 to 120 Philippine micro and small enterprises to Vietnam in late November or early December 2026.

The initiative aims to provide Philippine businesses with a deeper insight into Vietnam’s commercial landscape, SME support policies, and sector-specific development strategies, while forging stronger connectivity with the local business community.

Key focus areas include business matching, trade and investment exploration, and supply chain integration across sectors such as agriculture and food processing, manufacturing, retail and distribution, logistics, digital transformation, and SME capacity building.

The PCCI delegation also expressed interest in conducting market surveys and site visits to prominent manufacturing facilities and enterprises across Vietnam.

During the meeting, Mr Nguyen Quang Vinh appriciated the growing collaboration between the two parties, particularly following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in June 2026. He affirmed that VCCI supports the PAMEEx initiative in principle and stands ready to coordinate closely to ensure tangible outcomes for businesses in both nations.

The PCCI Vice President noted that the Philippine Trade and Investment Centre in Vietnam has recommended an itinerary incorporating Ho Chi Minh City. Under this proposed schedule, the delegation could undertake B2B matchmaking in the southern hub before attending the 24th Vietnam International Trade Fair (VIETNAM EXPO), scheduled for 3–5 December 2026.

Welcoming the proposal, Mr Nguyen Quang Vinh emphasised that VCCI is prepared to facilitate events in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or a combined itinerary depending on final arrangements. VCCI will also collaborate to organise a Vietnam–Philippines Business Forum centred on MSME support, knowledge-sharing, and corporate networking.

VCCI’s extensive network and regional branches in Southern Vietnam will be deployed to support PCCI with trade missions, enterprise visits, and business networking.

To ensure seamless logistics, VCCI requested that PCCI provide an updated itinerary, a detailed delegate list, target sectors, and specific B2B matching requirements in due course. On this basis, both parties will finalise the agenda, allocate operational responsibilities, and coordinate budgetary and logistical arrangements.

Mr Nguyen Quang Vinh reaffirmed VCCI’s warm welcome to the upcoming delegation, tasking VCCI’s International Relations Department to work side-by-side with PCCI counterparts to deliver a successful trade mission.
