Officers and employees from departments and units under VCCI participated in the training course held from August 28-29
The training course “Application of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve work efficiency and ensure information security in the digital age” is one of the specific activities of VCCI to implement Resolution 57 and Resolution 68 of the Politburo.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the core technologies that is experiencing a wave of strong development in scientific and technological achievements. This is also an important “key” contributing to promoting national digital transformation, affecting many industries and production and business activities, operations of enterprises, agencies and organizations.
AI also creates new momentum for socio-economic development, enhances the competitiveness of enterprises, and promotes international integration. In his opening speech at the course, Mr. Phan Hong Giang - Head of the VCCI Organization and Personnel Department said that as an organization representing the business community nationwide, VCCI officials' understanding, grasping and applying AI not only helps improve internal work efficiency but also contributes to supporting businesses and members to adapt faster to the digital age.
The outstanding benefits of AI cannot be denied, but this new technology is also bringing many challenges, especially in terms of information security, data security and responsible use of technology. This is a vital issue for organizations, businesses and individuals in the digital economy era.

The lecturers of the training course imparted the content and skills of applying AI in the office
The negative impacts of AI have been warned by the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Science and Technology), especially issues related to AI ethics, fraud prevention, and cybercrime from exploiting AI to target businesses and organizations. Equipping knowledge and skills has become necessary to help each individual and unit master technology, apply and use it effectively, contributing to improving labor productivity and improving work quality.
The trainees were taught and guided by a team of lecturers who are experienced technology experts and information security experts from the Foreign Trade University and NetPro Company. Through the course, VCCI hopes that the trainees will have access to basic knowledge and trends in applying AI in business management and support; practice modern AI tools to improve productivity, quality and creativity at work; equipping skills to identify risks, security solutions and information security in the digital environment.
