Holding Tan Hiep Phat's mineral water bottle in hand, Mr. Ton proudly introduced to the VCCI delegation, this is a result of Tan Hiep Phat's continuous improvement efforts, because this water bottle has a lightweight plastic bottle. best on the market today.
Only 10g of plastic but it's a whole project
Each plastic bottle is usually very light, just over 20g. For the average consumer, if the plastic bottle is lighter by another 10g, it will almost not feel the change. But for the manufacturer, for the environment is both a separate effort and efficiency.

Plastic water bottles are lighter, which also means less plastic is used, which in turn means less plastic waste in the environment. Lighter plastic water bottles also mean less input costs for plastic materials, less transportation costs, making water bottles cheaper, and better production and business efficiency.
In 2013, a plastic bottle of Tan Hiep Phat weighed 27g. It took 5 years, Tan Hiep Phat improved to reduce plastic bottles to 21.8g. And after 5 years, now the bottle is only 15.6g. Although only a few grams of plastic is reduced, the environmental effect is huge. From 2013 to 2018, Tan Hiep Phat reduced 20 thousand tons of plastic waste, and from 2018 to 2022, that number is 50,000 tons.
Mr. Luu Thien Chi, Research and Development Department of Tan Hiep Phat said, to reduce the weight of that plastic bottle by more than 10g, it took Tan Hiep Phat 10 years of research, design and the use of the most modern machines from Europe to produce such plastic bottles according to that standard
30 million dollars to make 10,000 dong water bottle
According to Ms. Tran Ngoc Bich, leader of Tan Hiep Phat Group, Number One Hau Giang factory is the first factory of Tan Hiep Phat to apply circular economy. The factory has 6 production lines. Each chain is worth 30 million dollars. When in operation, if the power off up to 1 minute which means the entire batch of products will be automatically rejected by the system without the operator being able to intervene. Ms. Bich said: “We spent 30 million dollars to produce a bottle of water that costs 10,000 dong. That is to imagine the quality of our water bottles.”
The "heart" of this production line is an extraction system with modern extraction technology, which extracts the "essence" of food, retains its "freshness", does not have to use preservatives but still preserves it. up to 12 months. A leader of Tan Hiep Phat gives an example: “If you stay at home to make tea, it will only take more than a day for that tea to be damaged. But if you put it into the extraction system, it will extract the same 'delicious' tea that can be kept for months after, no need to add preservatives."
VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong emphasized: “After visiting the factory, I have more confidence in the future of Vietnamese enterprises. There is a Vietnamese enterprise like Tan Hiep Phat that has stood firm to compete with the world's big enterprises. I see that the production plant is running at full speed, demonstrating good product consumption and good competition in the market. Wishing Tan Hiep Phat continued success in the future".
