On the morning of January 9, 2026, in Hai Phong City, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Northern Coastal Branch, in coordination with FAST Enterprise Management Software Joint-Stock Company, organized an in-depth seminar to disseminate and answer questions on the latest tax regulations, attracting the participation of representatives from more than 250 enterprises in the area.

Mr. Phi Trong Duc, Acting Director of VCCI Northern Coastal Branch, emphasized that mastering the new regulations is not only a matter of legal compliance, but also a way for enterprises to protect themselves against unnecessary financial risks.
At the seminar, experts focused on clarifying new provisions of the Value-Added Tax Law, the Corporate Income Tax Law, and regulations concerning electronic invoices generated from cash registers and connected to tax authorities.
For enterprises in the Northern Coastal region - one of the country’s important economic, industrial, and logistics hubs — correctly understanding tax policies applicable to production, trading, export–import, and supporting service activities is particularly important in order to minimize risks during the tax finalization process.

At the working session, experts provided specific explanations and answers regarding the Value-Added Tax Law and the Corporate Income Tax Law.
Representatives of VCCI Northern Coastal Branch emphasized that recent amendments to tax regulations are aimed not only at strengthening management and supervision but also at simplifying administrative procedures and creating more favorable conditions for compliant and legitimate enterprises.
A key issue discussed at the seminar was the handling of common errors in accounting records and financial statements, as well as methods for explaining discrepancies when working with tax authorities. Experts noted that with the increasing application of digital technologies, big data, and risk management systems by tax authorities, transparency and accuracy of accounting data have become mandatory requirements for enterprises.
According to Mr. Phi Trong Duc, Acting Director of VCCI Northern Coastal Branch, in the context of tax regulations being continuously updated and tightened to enhance transparency, enterprises should proactively update their legal knowledge instead of waiting until the peak tax finalization period. He emphasized that a proper understanding of tax regulations not only ensures compliance with the law but also helps enterprises avoid unnecessary financial and legal risks.
Another important focus of the seminar was the application of technology in accounting and tax management. Representatives of FAST Enterprise Management Software Joint-Stock Company introduced integrated management software solutions that support data consolidation, automate accounting processes, and provide early warnings of risks related to invoices, costs, and tax declarations.
These technological solutions help accounting departments save time and effort, especially during the peak period of tax finalization for the 2025 fiscal year, while also improving data accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
During the seminar, many enterprises raised practical questions regarding the integration of enterprise accounting software with the tax authority’s information systems, as well as the handling of specific cases such as tax refunds, cost allocation, and adjustments related to tax inspections.
The direct dialogue between enterprises, experts, and organizers helped clarify many practical issues, contributing to narrowing the gap between regulatory requirements and real-world business operations.
Affirming its role as a bridge between enterprises and state management agencies, representatives of VCCI Northern Coastal Branch stated that VCCI will continue to collect feedback, difficulties, and recommendations from enterprises and submit them to competent authorities. This is intended to contribute to improving the effectiveness of tax policy implementation and creating a more transparent and favorable business environment.
The seminar not only provided enterprises with updated and practical information on tax regulations but also served as an important forum connecting the business community in Hai Phong and neighboring provinces. The key message conveyed was that proactively updating legal knowledge and applying modern technological solutions are essential factors enabling enterprises to confidently and effectively carry out tax finalization for 2025.
