The Hanoi Regional VCCI Members’ Conference was organised to promote democracy, responsibility and members’ participation in contributing to the development of VCCI, while also carrying out preparations for the 8th VCCI National Congress for the 2026–2031 term. The conference focused on two main activities: discussing and providing comments on the draft documents for the 8th VCCI National Congress; and conducting the consultation and election of delegates representing members in the Hanoi region to attend the 8th VCCI National Congress. The conference was held in both in-person and online formats across more than 30 connection points.

VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh chairs the conference.
In his opening remarks at the conference, VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh said that the 8th VCCI National Congress for the 2026–2031 term is the most important political event of the Vietnamese business community, marking a new stage in VCCI’s development amid a new national context as the country enters a new era with increasingly high requirements for reforming the growth model, enhancing competitiveness and productivity, promoting digital and green transformation, and deepening and broadening international integration.
In the new phase, the business community is facing numerous challenges as well as opportunities, while also confronting significant difficulties. This requires VCCI to continue making strong innovations in its mode of operation and improving the quality of its representative role to protect the legitimate interests of the business community. At the same time, VCCI needs to further strengthen its role as a bridge between the business community and the Party, the State, and State management agencies.
“Therefore, the development of the documents to be submitted to the 8th National Congress is of particular importance. The documents not only review and assess VCCI’s performance during the previous term, but also set out the orientations, objectives, tasks and key solutions for the 2026–2031 term,” VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh emphasised.
VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh expressed his wish that the contributions made at the conference would be substantive, frank and responsible, and grounded in the practical needs of enterprises.
“We hope to receive specific proposals for solutions to improve VCCI’s operations, enhance the business environment, support sustainable enterprise development, promote linkages among enterprises, develop the private sector, and strengthen the voice of the business community in the process of policymaking and policy implementation.
Every contribution from member enterprises, whether from the perspective of an enterprise, association or locality, is valuable information for the drafting committee to further finalise the documents, closely align them with the Congress programme, and fully reflect the aspirations, expectations and practical requirements of the business community,” VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh said.

VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh called on delegates to uphold the spirit of democracy, solidarity and responsibility, and to select outstanding and reputable delegates with the capacity, and above all, the dedication to represent the legitimate voice and interests of the business community at the Congress.
“VCCI also hopes that, through the Northern Regional Members’ Conference and the relationship between VCCI and its member enterprises and business associations, this relationship will become increasingly close, substantive and effective, enabling VCCI to truly serve as the common home of the Vietnamese business community, a place that brings together, connects and promotes the strength of entrepreneurs and enterprises for the goal of a prosperous and thriving country.
I call on the delegates to focus on exchanging views, discussing and providing thoughtful and responsible contributions, while properly carrying out the consultation and selection of delegates in accordance with the prescribed procedures, ensuring democracy, objectivity and effectiveness,” VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh said.
At the same time, VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh expressed his confidence that, with the responsible participation of the member business community, the conference would achieve practical results and make an important contribution to the success of the 8th VCCI National Congress for the 2026–2031 term.

On the morning of September 8, VCCI organised the Hanoi Regional VCCI Members’ Conference to provide comments on the draft documents and conduct the consultation and election of delegates to attend the 8th VCCI National Congress for the 2026–2031 term.
VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh said that the comments contributed by the delegates would be fully taken into consideration by the Conference Organising Committee and reported to the Organising Committee of the Congress.
“All comments and recommendations from enterprises and entrepreneurs will be seriously considered by VCCI and further reported to the competent authorities for incorporation into the necessary contents. We will also strive to focus on VCCI’s key areas of work for the new term, in the coming 2021–2026 period,” VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh said.
