Pursuant to Clause 7, Article 1 of Decree 113/2018/ND-CP stipulating the retirement age when downsizing staff is as follows:
Article 1. Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated November 20, 2014 on the downsizing policy:
Persons are downsizing the payroll specified in Article 6 of this Decree if they are full 55 years old to full 58 years old for men, full 50 years old to full 53 years old for women, and have paid social insurance premiums for full 20 years or more, are entitled to the retirement regime in accordance with the law on social insurance and the regimes specified at Points a and c, Clause 1 of this Article and a subsidy of 3 months' salary for each year of early retirement compared with the prescribed age specified at Point a, Clause 1, Article 54 of the Law on Social Insurance.
Thus, the retirement age according to the marginal streamlining system is full 55 years old to full 58 years old for men, full 50 years old to full 53 years old for women.
However, she noted that whether or not it is possible to retire before the age of retirement under the downsizing category is a staff reduction project that the agency has built. You can refer to Chapter III of Decree 108/2014/ND-CP.
