During the period of concentrated study (within the prescribed time limit), Mr. Vuong is not entitled to the seniority allowance. He asked whether he will still receive the seniority allowance during this period of concentrated study.

Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Education and Training provided the following response:

The regime of seniority allowance for educators is implemented according to the regulations in Decree No. 77/2021/ND-CP dated August 1, 2021, issued by the Government. Accordingly, the period for calculating the entitlement to the seniority allowance for educators includes the time spent on teaching and education, with compulsory participation in social insurance in public educational institutions.

For lecturers who are assigned as experts, attending courses, internships, working, conducting surveys, both domestically and internationally, but do not engage in teaching and education, they are not eligible for the seniority allowance for educators.
