It is expected that pangasius exports for the whole year of 2021 will reach more than US$1.5 billion and the target is US$1.6 billion for 2022. However, the farming area of pangasius in July-September 2021 decreased sharply compared to the same period in 2020, so there may be a shortage of raw materials for processing in January-March, 2022.
