Taking place from October 10 to 14 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, the second Annual Meeting of the Global Economic Forum (GEF 2026) with the theme "Shaping Resilient Economies – Advancing Sustainable Global Growth" was expected to attract over 5,000 delegates, representing organizations and businesses from more than 100 countries.
According to the Organizing Committee, the forum is positioned as a platform to connect policymakers, business leaders, international organizations, experts, and investors to promote cross-border economic cooperation, innovation, and sustainable development.
Within the framework of the forum's honoring program, Ms. Le Thuy Nga, internationally known as Helen Nga Le, Founder and CEO of HelenCare, was awarded the MMC Global Leadership Award 2026.
The award belongs to a program that recognizes individuals and organizations with contributions in leadership, innovation, international cooperation, and sustainable development. According to the general criteria of the GEF award program, leadership capacity, the ability to foster cooperation, and creating positive impacts are highly valued factors.
With over 25 years of experience in investment, business, and healthcare, Ms. Le Thuy Nga has developed HelenCare with a focus on connecting international medical solutions, especially Swiss biological medicine, with the needs of healthcare, disease prevention, and improving the quality of life in Vietnam.
In recent years, the business has continued to expand its orientation into the Longevity sector, focusing on personalized healthcare, prevention, and extending the number of healthy years lived.
Being honored in Bangkok marks a milestone in the Vietnamese businesswoman's journey of developing healthcare initiatives and international medical cooperation.

Sharing at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thuy Nga stated: "For me, leadership is not just about building a successful business, but also about creating values that can contribute long-term to the community. I believe that a sustainable economy must begin with healthy people. Investing in health is investing in the future."
One of the notable topics at the forum is the rise of the Longevity Economy – an economy tied to the need for living healthily, living longer, and maintaining the quality of life in the context of an aging population.
The development of preventive medicine, diagnostic technology, health data, personalized care, and integrated medical-resort models is expected to continue driving the market in the coming years.
The enterprise aims to build a network of six Longevity centers in Asia by 2030. This is a long-term development strategy, in which medical expertise, quality standards, operational efficiency, and the scalability of the model will be crucial factors determining the sustainability of the project.
According to Ms. Le Thuy Nga, Vietnam has favorable conditions to participate more deeply in the healthcare and Longevity value chain in Asia, thanks to the growth of the middle class, the demand for high-quality healthcare, and the potential to combine medical services with resort tourism.
The presence of a Vietnamese enterprise at the Global Economic Forum 2026, along with the award given to the Founder of HelenCare, demonstrates efforts to participate in international cooperation forums and seek a position in a growing sector.
As the world moves towards resilient economies and sustainable growth, investing in human health is no longer just a personal choice but is increasingly becoming a matter of strategic significance for businesses and society.
