The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership signed between the two nations in September 2023 underscores Vietnam's pivotal role in diversifying the global semiconductor supply chain. This agreement exemplifies the strong commitment of both nations to foster technological innovation and economic growth, setting the stage for a future of enhanced cooperation and shared success in the global semiconductor industry.

In a parallel development, another MoU has been successfully concluded between the Law Offices of Gabriel J. This agreement, formalised in Vietnam, is set to revolutionise IT infrastructure development in both the US and Vietnam.

FPT Software, Vietnam's largest IT service provider, has built an impressive track record since its founding in 1988. The company generates $2.17 billion in annual revenue and employs over 48,000 people within its core operations, with a total workforce of 78,000 including affiliated companies.

FPT's diverse portfolio spans multiple industries such as aviation, technology, semiconductors, and more. The collaboration with American partners, who bring extensive expertise in legal services, market entry consulting, aviation maintenance, IT, and renewable energy, is set to unlock new opportunities and drive sustainable success for all involved.

The MoU aims to secure joint funding for innovative projects under the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, fostering investment in semiconductor development initiatives. The collaboration will also focus on enhancing IT infrastructure through workforce development, student exchanges, new training programmes, and educational seminars.
