The Sa Vi border information popularisation complex located in Mong Cai province, in addition to the Thanh Dong organic vegetable garden situated in Hoi An city, have been presented with honourable awards during the 39th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF 2020) in Brunei.

In total, the Sa Vi border information popularisation complex covers an area of 16,000 square metres with construction beginning on the complex in 2009 before being completed in October 2013.

During ATF 2020, the Sa Vi Border Information popularisation complex were presented with the ‘ASEAN best sustainable rural or urban tourism product’ award.

It is hoped that the award will contribute to developing the brand for busineses and serving as a boost for their high-quality tourism products and services whilst simultaneously improving the effectiveness of tourism promotion activities and the country’s "Vietnam Timeless Charm" brand.

Elsewhere, the Thanh Dong Organic Vegetable Garden of Hoi An city in the central province of Quang Nam was a recipient of an award in the same category at the ATF 2020.
