The 20th Vietnam-China border trade fair is set to get underway in the Chinese province of Yunnan on December 12 in an online format.

This year's event will be held in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 200 Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises will use the platform to exhibit their vast range of products and live stream their selling activities.
On display will be plenty of products, including electronics, household electrical appliances, machinery, food, clothes, and farm products.
Within the framework of the fair, there will also be a seminar held on economic and trade co-operation between Vietnam’s Lao Cai and Yunnan provinces, along with the signing of contracts between Vietnamese and Chinese firms.
The annual event is typically held on a rotary basis between the Vietnamese province of Lao Cai and Yunnan province of China, aiming to promote trade between the two countries.
The fair, to be virtually held due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic will offer a chance for participating businesses to promote their products while seeking additional opportunities to expand into new markets.
