Organized by the Domestic Market Management and Development Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the week-long event marks the first large-scale agricultural showcase to be held in Hoan Kiem Ward, a place that is known as the heart of the capital and draws both locals and visitors.
The event, running from October 24-25, offers Hanoians an immersive experience to explore, taste and learn about the journey of Made in Vietnam” products from farm to table.
It aims to become a cultural and economic highlight, connecting farmers, cooperatives and businesses in building a modern, high-quality and sustainable Vietnamese agricultural brand.
The exhibition space is designed as a vibrant snapshot of Vietnam’s agricultural diversity -from fresh fruits and vegetables to seafood, processed goods and regional specialties that embody the country’s rich culinary heritage.
During the event, visitors will witness the launch of the “Digital Agricultural Map”, a new platform that features agricultural products from 34 participating provinces. This digital map allows consumers and businesses to easily access product information, linking producers directly with markets and buyers.
The two-day event will feature livestream sales sessions on TikTok Shop, joined by popular artists, singers and social media influencers. These sessions aim to bring Vietnamese farm products closer to consumers through creative and interactive digital channels.
“Through this event, we want Vietnamese agricultural products to be better recognized not only for their quality and value but also for their strong position on the global agricultural map,” said Tran Huu Linh, Director General of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development.
Another unique attraction will be the debut of the largest sturgeon ever raised in the northern province of Lai Chau, weighing nearly 50 kilograms after 15 years of cultivation, a powerful symbol of the northern mountainous region’s aquaculture potential.
Visitors can also enjoy a street food zone that recreates the culinary essence of Vietnam’s three regions, offering local dishes that reflect the nation’s diverse and vibrant food culture.
