Vietnam Agri-Products Week 2025 has kicked off at Exhibition House No. 45 Trang Tien, drawing crowds of locals and tourists to explore specialties from 34 provinces and cities while promoting digital trade through TikTok livestreaming sessions featuring popular artists and influencers.
The weeklong event, themed “Touch Vietnam – Feel the Pride”, showcases the country’s agricultural diversity, from fresh produce and seafood to processed goods, and introduces the new Digital Agricultural Map, an online platform connecting producers, distributors, and consumers nationwide.
According to Le Hoang Vu of the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the livestreaming sessions are expected to help Vietnamese farm products reach more consumers, promote a digital image of the country’s agriculture and strengthen their presence on the global map.

“The Vietnam Agri-Products Week 2025 offers a taste tour across the three regions of the country, with each stall telling a story of local specialties and culture for visitors to enjoy, experience and be proud together,” Vu told The Hanoi Times.
The fair also attracts foreign tourists. "This is the first time I have immersively experienced such an event to explore, taste and learn about the journey of made-in-Vietnam products from farms to dining tables," said Perraudo, a 32-year-old tourist from Switzerland.

“I have traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, the central cities of Danang and Hue, and now I can experience the event’s food zone, which recreates the culinary essence of Vietnam's three regions, offering me an authentic taste of local cuisine in the lively setting of downtown Hanoi,” Perraudo told The Hanoi Times.
He also shared that this is also the first time he has seen the largest sturgeon ever, weighing nearly 50 kilograms.
The sturgeon has been raised in the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau for 15 years. "It is an impressive symbol of the aquaculture development potential of the country's northern mountainous region," said Le Hoang Vu.

He added that with its central location and rich lineup of activities, the event is expected to become a distinctive cultural and economic highlight, gathering businesses and farmers on the journey toward a modern and sustainable Vietnamese agriculture.
The Digital Agricultural Map launched

"The tool is expected to increase competitiveness and strengthen the brand value of Vietnamese agricultural products. We hope every product featured on the map will reflect its quality and reliability, but the cultural essence, hard work and unique spirit of its region,” Tran Huu Linh, Director General of the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development, told The Hanoi Times.
It marks the beginning of a nationwide platform that will serve as a comprehensive promotional and distribution channel for Vietnamese agricultural products, enhancing their presence in both local and international markets.
He stressed that digital technology is an inevitable trend in Vietnam's agricultural production. In its initial phase, the map will highlight outstanding agricultural products from each province and city. The list of products is proposed by local Departments of Industry and Trade, based on criteria such as quality, reputation and regional distinctiveness.
The Digital Agricultural Map will be regularly and publicly updated on the official website of the department at www.dms.gov.vn.
