The Ministry of Health confirmed 4,911 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday morning, raising the national caseload to 205,656.

The latest patients comprise four imported cases and 7,937 domestic infections in 23 localities, namely Ho Chi Minh City (1,896), Binh Duong (1,477), Long An (724), Dong Nai (390), Soc Trang (94), Ha Noi (63), Da Nang (62), Vinh Long (57), Dong Thap (48), Ninh Thuan (23), Thua Thien-Hue (19), Kien Giang (18), Binh Dinh (14), Ha Giang (14), Phu Yen (13), Quang Ngai (9), Lao Cai (3), Ha Tinh (3), Thanh Hoa (2), Lang Son (2), Son La (2), Bac Lieu (2), and Ca Mau (2).

The national caseload includes 201,743 locally-transmitted cases confirmed since April 27.

The ministry also announced 234 new fatalities, bringing the death toll to 3,250./.
