The Ministry of Health confirmed seven imported cases and 1,383 locally-transmitted cases of COVID-19 over the last 18 hours, raising the national caseload to 27,400.

The imported cases are Vietnamese nationals, of whom five were repatriated from Indonesia (2), the United Arab Emirates (1), Japan (1) and the UK (1) and two entered Viet Nam via the Moc Bai international border gate in the southern province of Tay Ninh.

The domestic infections are residents in Ho Chi Minh City (1,120), Tien Giang (75), Dong Thap (50), Vinh Long (26), Dong Nai (18), Khanh Hoa (15), Phu Yen (15), Ba Ria-Vung Tau (11), An Giang (10), Soc Trang (7), Hung Yen (7), Bac Giang (4), Binh Phuoc (4), Thanh Hoa (3), Ben Tre (2), Ha Noi (2), Tay Ninh (2), Tra Vinh (2), Ca Mau (2), Bac Ninh (2), Ninh Thuan (1), Bac Lieu (1), Kien Giang (1), Binh Dinh (1), Ha Tinh (1), Thai Binh (1) and Ha Nam (1).
