Located in the northern province of Yen Bai, Ta Chi Nhu Mountain offers tourists who climb to the peak mesmerising views of clouds, along with a vast array of violet flowers.

Ta Chi Nhu, which is often referred to as Phu Song Sung by the Thai ethnic people, can be found in Tram Tau district of Yen Bai province.

At a height of 2,979 metres above sea level, Ta Chi Nhu is among the 10 highest mountains in the country, serving as an attractive destination for local cloud hunters.

Visitors to the area must be in Tram Tau district one day before starting their climb to the peak of Ta Chi Nhu mountain, with local porters on hand to support tourists on their journey to conquer the mountain.

Groups who climb the mountain typically set off at 8 a.m.

Violet flowers usually come into full bloom between September and November. Indeed, the mountain is an ideal place for cloud hunters between November to March when the weather becomes both dry and cold, creating perfect conditions in which to snap photographs of the clouds.
