As an investor of synchronous and modern industrial complexes for clean industrial projects with high added values that match the investment strategy of Ninh Binh province, Thien Phu Co., Ltd has increasingly affirmed its reputation and solid position in the market and contributed to local socioeconomic development.

Establishing a new position

Thien Phu Co., Ltd, established in 2003, is active in many industries like commerce, hotel, logistics and construction across the country. Mr. Dang Duc Hiep, General Director of Thien Phu Co., Ltd, said, after nearly 20 years of operation, the company has always supported investors from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and other countries to approach and deploy investment projects in provinces good for foreign investors like Hanoi, Hung Yen and Hai Duong, and gained high confidence from partners. He always thinks about Ninh Binh, especially his hometown - Gia Vien, a district that used to be known as a muddy land with poor traffic conditions, that lay far from economic and logistics centers and where people were rustic and familiar with disruptive farming practices. And, to change these to make a new look for Gia Vien, it is necessary to attract large projects that will catch attention and offer value to foreign investors.

Knowing that Ninh Binh province has a very open investment attraction policy, he raised this with provincial leaders and received full support, making him confident and motivated to propose investment affairs to partners from Taiwan. With the cooperation and support of local people and authorities at all levels as well as the determination of Taiwanese partners and Thien Phu Co., Ltd, after less than 120 working days at full capacity, one of the largest leather footwear factories in Ninh Binh province in Gia Van commune, Gia Vien district went into production with the joy of Taiwanese investors and local people. This initial success made Thien Phu Co., Ltd determined to boost investment in infrastructure development to entice more potential investors that bring environmentally friendly industrial projects with high added value. Therefore, the company decided to invest in green, synchronous and modern industrial complexes as per the plan approved by the province. Five years after it successfully drew the leather footwear factory to Gia Van commune, Thien Phu Co., Ltd was approved by the province as an infrastructure investor of three industrial complexes - Gia Van, Gia Lap (Gia Vien district) and Van Phong (Nhon Quan district) - covering a total area of over 150 ha, costing a total investment fund of over VND1,200 billion. The occupancy rate exceeded 80%, hired by more than 20 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects which are mainly engaged in automobile parts, electronics, leather and footwear. The above achievements have shown a clear improvement in the investment environment of Ninh Binh province and established the company’s leading position in industrial infrastructure investment and foreign investor support.

Going with government and business

Adhering to the Government's principle of not exchanging the environment for economic growth, the company always prioritizes environmental protection in industrial infrastructure development. Industrial complexes invested by Thien Phu Co., Ltd are always covered by trees and invested with a synchronous and modern centralized wastewater treatment system as approved in environmental impact assessment (EIA) reports before attracting secondary investors. Since its inception, Thien Phu Co., Ltd has always performed its corporate social responsibility with many meaningful activities. The firm has also strictly adhered to laws on finance, accounting, auditing and labor; regularly guided and urged foreign investors in industrial zones to comply with Vietnamese laws. According to General Director Dang Duc Hiep, in order to creatively make Ninh Binh an attractive destination for investors to meet green and sustainable development requirements, in the coming time, the company will continue to build and develop green, clean and eco-friendly industrial zones; attract big investors with modern technology to explore investment opportunities in the province and in its industrial zones in particular. Thien Phu Co., Ltd will overcome difficulties in investment procedures and make tenants feel assured in business.
