Thanh Hoa Province in central Vietnam has identified a list of 51 non-state budget investment projects that have received policy approval and are expected to be completed and yield commercial products by 2026.

According to a report from the Provincial Department of Finance, these projects represent a total combined investment of approximately VND63.95 trilion (approximately $2.43 billion).

Curently, 24 projects have already been completed and put into operation with a total investment of VND24.462 trillion (nearly $930 million). These developments have already begun contributing to the local economy by bolstering production and service capacities.

Notable large-scale projects include the fourth production line of the Long Son Cement Plant, which increased annual capacity by 2.3 million tons with an investment of VND7.7 trillion (nearly $293 million). Other significant completions include a Radial automobile tire factory with an annual output of over 960,000 products, and the Dai Duong high-tech precast concrete factory.

According to the provincial plan, another 16 projects with a total investment of VND23.676 trillion (nearly $900 million) are scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2026. This group consists of large-scale developments spanning various sectors, including processing industries, chemicals, commerce, tourism, and social housing.

Some of the most prominent projects in this phase include the second phase of the Miza Nghi Son paper packaging factory, the first project of the Duc Giang Nghi Son chemical complex, the ASEAN Ceramics Valley, and the Aeon Mall Thanh Hoa shopping center.

In the final quarter of 2026, Thanh Hoa expects an additional 11 projects to reach completion, representing a total investment of approximately VND15.8 trillion (over $600 million).

The Department of Finance emphasized that accelerating the progress of these projects to ensure they are operational as planned will play a vital role in increasing industrial production capacity and expanding the province's commercial and service infrastructure.
