Quang Ninh Customs Department has asked the Post Clearance Audit Customs Branches to focus on promoting information collection and analysis and risk assessment, as well as to improve the efficiency of assessment activities.

The local customs department also required branches to strengthen grasp businesses’ operation before implementing audits to create consensus of firms in compliance with legal policies, ensuring the maximum efficiency of each audit.

According to the department, although the progress of audits has been in line with plans, some firms have been hit by the public health crisis, so they have applied for suspension or exempt from inspections.

In addition, due to the application of social distancing measures in the province, the audits have been suspended, causing difficulties for inspections.

In the third and fourth quarters, Quang Ninh Customs will promote achievements, flexibly use available resources, and strive to complete tasks through post-clearance inspection.
