As of June 2021, nearly 3.9 million dossiers submitted by businesses were processed through the National Single Window (NSW), according to the General Department of Customs, Permanent Office of the National Steering Committee on ASEAN Single Window (ASW), NSW and Trade Facilitation.
Viet Nam officially exchanged electronic Certificate of Origin (ATIGA e-Form D) through the ASW with all nine countries in ASEAN.
From January 1-June 15, 19 new administrative procedures were connected to the NSW with 319,272 processed files from 3,886 enterprises.
A total number of 226 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and agencies were officially connected to the NSW with approximately 3.89 million files of 47,700 firms.
During the reviewed period, Viet Nam received 107,152 C/O forms from ASEAN nations and sent 622,987 C/O forms to these countries, raising the total numbers of received and sent C/O forms to 366,458 and 939,460, respectively.
The standing agency is coordinating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to prepare technical conditions to exchange information on ASEAN customs declaration and phytosanitary certificate with Indonesia and Thailand, which are expected to be officially connected this year.
